We asked them where they spend their marketing dollars, what marketing channels are important to them and where their leads are coming from.

From Freakonomics:
GOOD produced this sharp info-graphic on murder rates worldwide. One interesting trend it doesn’t show: countries with lower murder rates tend to have higher rates of suicide. Take Japan, which has one of the lowest murder rates in the world — just 0.5 per 100,000 peo...

This may be our most controversial slideshow ever. We left off black licorice despite protestations, we kept gum drops on regardless of the pleas to abstain. Well now we need you to vote, and if enough of you express hatred for a specific "treat" we may add it to the list....

It appears as if GeoCities is down for the count. Yahoo announced recently that all GeoCities pages will be shutting down on October 26, 2009. I haven't looked at or thought about GeoCities in a very, very long time but there was a time when I would patiently wait on a 13.6 baud rate internet connection from two Compaqs networked on Mike's porch. This was back in maybe 1997 or so and we would have nightly planning sessions with Bob Nevans on how to effectively both share a dial-up, networked computer situation. Nevertheless, once we connected we would sign into the GeoCities account and constantly work on our Absolute Music DJ Service webpage. I wish we had visuals to reference. It was a sweet site.
R.I.P. GeoCities!
